Hi,
CassandraFan. The detail on that is fantasic, paint work excellent, take you long to do?
In a way I think its good you did'nt get it autographed.
It just looks so good as it is.

PS I'm a sucker for the long-locked hair look also.

Great job on the paint. How are you going to display it? I'm looking for a classic bell jar type for my latest find. Know anywhere to find these? The one I'm looking for is similar to the ones that they use on old clocks. The clear test tube looking jar with a wooden base.
Suggestions anyone?

Not a clue on that SS. There was recenlty a really cool Elvira model on sale on eBay just like that one. It was the Screamin' kit but it had a ton of custom work done on it and actually had real metal and jewels in place for the detail on her ring and dagger....and of course I can't find pics of the d**n thing now because the auction is over and I didn't save any. CassFan, nice work on that model. Would you care if I included the pic of your painted model with credit to you in my fan art gallery over on Mistress Masterpieces? If so, just let me know and give me the name you want it credited to and a link back to your own website if you have one.

Orlock, its fine with me to post my model pictures. All my model photos at my cameras native resolution are a total of about 20 Megabytes. On my modem that would take several hours to upload! Here is a thumbnail selection: {Last row #'s Image 28,29,30,32,33 (no 31) if missing.} Let me know if you want them at high res jpeg. They vary from 250K to 1.1 Megabytes each. My reply for GMJ.
This was my first painted figurine. In my model building past, I had only built a Saturn Five rocket (that included a very small Appolo 11 capsule), a Star Trek original space craft (the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC1701), the Columbia Space Shuttle and a futruristic car designed with many parts in a working suspension, lights and motorized, in all a complex kit SC-100, released by The Linberg Line in the 60's. Maybe built several other plastic models I have forgotten about, but no figurines. So, this Elvira took me about 40 hours. Had to first put on a white coat primer for the flesh tones. Figure out how to paint fine eye and lips details with a small piece of copper wire dipped in the paint. Used make-up for rouge as suggested by another Elvira Model painter. It was enjoyable to create all these small details. Take care and Unpleasant dreams!

Orlock, Just checked out your website, Orlock's Domain, under the fan art section. Your copies of my model pictures from here look great posted there! So do the other artists' work. Thank you. ;D Hope we find out more on why Cassandra did not make the Detroit Con Show. I was going to go, if she would have been there. The rumors on a new movie deal need clarification and verification as the reason why she did not show up there. Unpleasant Dreams for Now,

No problem. Glad you liked them. Just to clarify, Orlock's Domain is my main site, but Mistress Masterpieces (which is linked from the Domain, and Manor Macabre, and several other Elvira sites, UNFORTUNATELY not hers....yet ) is my Elvira fan art site, the one and ONLY on the internet like it. ;D

Test if old photo links still work. The link or the [IMG} command for photos does not appear to work anymore. I know the image is still posted at the tinypic.com and comes up there OK if I copy the code: /4t575c. Oh well, maybe the web master will tell me a new way to post phots/images. Unpleasant Dreams!

Hi every one again! Since the webmaster, Patterson, showed the new icon to post pictures I'll try it and repeat one of the last photos posted. Does not seem to work yet!! The photo command was typed above and no image. The photo link is still good. Need Patterson to check this out. and maybe fix the command of IMG URL /IMG, brackets deleted to show command string for images. Unpleasant Dreams and use the links method posted in my last message for now!
