You know I remember the first year Elvira cardboard displays appeared in grocery stores everywhere. In fact I was fortunate enough to have a well connected uncle who brought one home for me. ( I still have it and it is my personal favorite from all of her other Coors displays).
Anyway with this re-emergence of Elvira ( I know she was never really gone but her presence was much more prominent in 2004 than it has been in a while) it would be nice to see her team up with another major corporation just to be back in the public eye. I would love to see an Elvira/Coors reunion just because I think that would be a great gimmick for both parties or even have her become the Queen of Halloween "spooks person" for another major label.
I absolutely loved Movie Macabre but apparently the big corporations have snagged up most of the B movie titles. Maybe a weekly series similar to Tales from the Crypt, Tales from the Darkside, or Monsters could be created for and hosted by Elvira.
I just hate to see her fade away when she still has soooo much potential. Anyway these are just a couple of ideas and I know these things have probably been discussed or thought of before and I am sure there are probably good reasons for why they haven't been done (money for instance) but Cassandra if you are reading this WE LOVE YOUR ELVIRA! : ) and we love you for sharing her with all of us. So thank you and may we all be blessed with many more successful years for the Mistress of the Dark!
