Hey guys,
According to IMDB message board a fan had recently spoken with Elvira about another feature film. From the post it appears that she will begin filming 2006/2007 her new movie titled Elvira VS The Vampire Princess. I am hoping it will follow along the same idea she had about her previous script of Elvira Versus the Lesbian Vampires. Anyway we love you Elvira and look forward to watch you work you magic! Wowhowwo! I just hope this turns out to be true >FIngers crossed< LOL

I e-mailed Elvira.com in reference to the supposed new movie. The response I received from Elvira.com is that this is in fact bogus information. Oh well. Whatever happens I sure hope some big decisions are made regarding Elvira. I am hoping a full scale comeback. It appears that Maila Nurmi has authorized use of her Vampira character by Coffin Cases. While the model Masuimi Max makes a good Vampira there is only one queen of Halloween and that is Elvira! I am hoping they don't try and out do Elvira's Halloween campaign. (not that she could be out done) but still forewarned is forearmed! Anyway the Halloween merchandise is hitting the stores as we speak so hopefully some Elvira news will break soon. If anyone has heard any news I am sure we would all like to hear about it. Sincerely, Dreary

Patterson, Thanks for clearing up the whole IMDB thing. Man it just ticks me off when people intentionally post false crap on the internet. I was really hoping that a new movie was a possibility instead of just some A*#hole trying to set people up for a big ole bursted bubble. Hopefully you will have some new information for us soon. Atleast we can count on your site being reliable. I feel bad for even mentioning what I saw on IMDB now because I probably got a lot of fans hopes up and then let them down too because of some jerk on a message board. Anyway sorry guys. I thought it was good news from IMDB. Too bad it was phony. Shame on IMDB con artists!

Hey, I responded to the imdb thing because I also heard the same info from cassandra about this movie...it was at the Monster Mania convention in New Jersey this past may (my first time meeting her!!!). Anyway, she did a panel with Angus Scrimm, Doug Bradley and Leatherface from TCM2 Bill Johnson. Anyway, they ended the panel with talking about what was next with their characters and this is when Cassandra mentioned the movie although I remembered her calling it Elvira VS the Fearless Vampire Women although I could have gotten it jumbled. So, she said that the movie had actually been filmed a few years back but wasn't released and she couldn't get the rights until recently. So then she said it had dated while sitting on the shelf and the plan was to completely redo it after a script rewrite. This got me quite excited along with her telling me when I got an autograph about various offers to resurrect Movie Macabre from several television companies. However, I also attended the Rue Morgue Festival of Fear last month in Toronto where she stated that there wouldn't be another Elvira movie because she finances them herself and it's just too financial straining. Needless to say I'm confused and I'm sure I've just confused others with me but that's the stories I got from her from those two conventions...any able to clear anything up about this apparant film that was actually filmed???

........we all live in hope.....
its unofrtunate she has to finance these things herself...shall we have a fundraiser?....lol
But seriously, if indeed another feature had been filmed i cant see how it would have dated as Elviras quick oneliners and humour are kinda timeless.....perhaps a dvd rlease through the official website or here is called for?.......GRIN

I agree...if they can't finance the reshooting I would love her to release the original if possible

All of this still sounds fishy to me guys. I'm not saying any of you are liars, I just think, well, if something, ANYTHING were out there. SOMEONE would know. What makes it even more unbelieveable is the fact that supposedly there is a finished Elvira movie out there since the inception of the internet that NO ONE knows exists, aaaannnnndddd I just don't see that coming down so cleanly. :/

I do remember an interview in a magazine a couple of years back, Femme Fatales where she mentioned that a script had been written, and they were ready to film. She wanted to write this herself and with her writting partner John Paragon so they could have control over the character. From the interview, they felt that they lost some of the control of the character Elvira and wanted to do more with her.
This was before Haunted Hills came out and the studio dropped the contract when Cass wanted all rights to the character.
It would be nice if there was something out there that was finished and could be released. Probably legal junk and red tape.

Every time I see the first movie, I want the road trip to go on forever. I've always trhought that movie #1 should have been two movies, first, Elvira Road Trip or something, then part two, Elvira hits Falwell, or something. An entire movie done now, devoted to a road trip, would be great.
