There was an article from the Hollywood Reporter about an Independent DVD Supplier releasing some Movie Macabre episodes, hopefully by Halloween 2006. Is this true or a vicious rumor to Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) fans? Obviously they're going to have to release the Public Domain movies first. MST3K has been doing it for years, having their shows on put on DVD. If it happens it will be great to see these, especially episode that weren't put into sydication that I never got to see. In the article they had a Elvira quote, so it seems legit. I'm sure this site will have updates if it's going to happen. Any word Mr Webmaster?

Any word Mr Webmaster? Seems likely as she is also looking at being involved in the re-release of her first movie on DVD with Anchor Bay, whom I've gotten her connected with. I'm also trying to get them in touch with Edie McClurg as well.

Actually Cassandra Peterson and Edie McClurg on the Comm. would be amazing. Well here's to hope! Thanks.

I am so excited about this. I do have one question about this article. It states "Elvira's first movie, "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark," came out in October 1987. Since then, Peterson has cut several more films -- most recently "Elvira's Haunted Hills." I am only aware of Elvira filming Haunted Hills and Mistress of the Dark. Did she in fact film another movie that wasn't released? Anyway other than that I am pretty ecstatic about this terrifec news!

I think the bit about several movies (of her own) was just sloppiness, BS to fill an article and get it done and out of the way.
