Hey, sorry to bother you. I just joined the forum, and recieved the activation code and am now waiting for my account to be en abeled by a member of staff. The reason i am e mailing is incase y`all didnt know about it. You see, i run 3 forums hosted by proboards, and since the recent upgrades have been having the same problems. For some reason, when a new member signs up, they cant access the board. There account is pre-set to disabled. You have to go into the new members profile, and scroll down to the bottom where it says "Disable Account:" and change the setting to NO. Its a total pain in the ass, but i have yet to find a way to do it, other than going into each new members profile and doing it 1 by one. If you already knew this, im sorry for being a pain in the ass Just thought id bring it up, as pro boards didnt enlighten me on the workings of the new system upgrade id guess they didnt you either.. Anyway.. My point, i just registered as Dazman. If one of y`all admin types would be kind enough to en able my account for me, would be much appreciated Darren. ps. again, sorry if y`all already knew that lol.

Limited Registration: Enabling this option will make it so all new accounts must be approved by a staff member before their account becomes active.
You change that setting from "yes" to "no" as default and it doesn't have to be done for each new member. It's so Admins can approve each new member individually, but since guests are allowed to post, is pretty darn useless here...lol...
A nice addition, but unnecessary here as of right now. Thanks again man.

I had 56 new members join one of my forums a couple weeks ago over the space of a couple of days.. They saw it advertised at a con.. I enabeled each account manually.. Lets just pretend i knew that you could change that setting in the admin area and move on.. k?
